I had their buffet and got 2 plates. One with seafood and their traditional dinner. It was great. My first time there, I can't wait to return back there again next year.
You need to come here earlier like 3:30 to be able to sit right away. There are more than seafood here such as salad and some meat dishes. But to make it worth the money the best choice here is seafood. They have fried seafood, which is pretty good, especially the fried scallops. They also have steamed clam, mussel and crab legs. The freshness of crab legs are half and half. Mostly not bad. The fried oyster and baked oyster are both disappointing. Their best dish is stuffed mushrooms. Overall it is ok place to eat seafood. But I probably won't come again.
Highly recommend going here if you love seafood! It has an amazing seafood buffet! With a good amount of non seafood items as well. And a ton of desserts. Friendly and attentive staff.
We had a large party come in and get served by the best server. She was on top of her game, super friendly and helpful. No one’s drink was ever empty, everything we needed was there before we could even think to ask for it. Food was delicious also, and incredibly filling. Well worth the price just for the seafood alone.
For two adults to eat buffet with two teas it was 110 dollars. $47 for one person to eat. Plus tax. If you are use to Calabash at Myrtle Beach this is not where you want to go. The food was good but definitely not Calabash. The food was more sophisticated than the type of southern I'm used to. At the time they didn't have all kinds of different fried fish like Calabash or more traditional foods. All the pictures attached was everything they had. Minus the salad bar. Food was good. But Golden Corale could've eat better for less. GREAT SERVICE though!
Loaded tables and loaded history, a true southern and beach food experience. Excellent decorations and exotic menu additions too. Tradition traveling to these corners of outer banks…once you must eat here experience place, pricey but worth it.
