Dirty Dicks Crab House – A Funny Name and Great Food!
Adults can look forward to a menu full of fresh, local seafood with a New Orleans accent. Families are welcome at Dirty Dicks Crab House Nags Head. Their menu includes Grouper, Flounder, Fried Frog Legs, Crab Cakes, Creole Stuffed Crabs, Jumbo Stuffed Shrimp, and Lump Crab Au Gratin with Shrimp and Mushrooms. They’ll also have Scallop Cakes, Shrimp and Grits, Linguine and Clams, Ranch Pork Chops, Braised Ham Shanks, Barbecue Smoked Chicken, and Chicken Etouffe’.
Open for Lunch and Dinner.
A variety of sandwiches such as PO-boys, wraps, burgers, Crab Melt, and Seafood Muffaletta. Lunch entrees include Fish Tacos, Steak Kabob, Red Beans and Rice, and Dixie Chicken where tenderloins are grilled, brushed with pepper jelly vinaigrette, topped with applewood smoked bacon and blue cheese, and served with cheese corn grits.
Kids Menu is also great and they can handle large groups.
The food here is absolutely outstanding! The service from our waitress at the bar was great as well. What I didn't like was that the other waitresses there seemed to be standing around, walking in circles and not helping out their team member at the bar. It all ended well and we made sure we left her a big tip $ ????
Amazing!! There is an outdoor seating section, indoor dining, and a second floor bar with windows (where my view was). I had the Red Oak Amber Lager which was very good. The food melts in your mouth!! The special tuna taco was very fresh and contained a lot of flavor. The views were great at every section. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant!!
Underwhelmed with tonight’s food preparations. Cooked too fast and all fried items were very greasy. Stuffed flounder was a nice attempt, but fell short of the expectations of a $25.00 price tag. Best Clam Chowder I have ever had. Alligator tail bites fixed to perfection. Seafood Broil platters were fabulous. Sirloin steak was exactly how we ordered it, medium rare. Plenty of food to take home with us. PERFECT.
Among the best seafood I've ever had, everything was cooked to perfection and exquisitely seasoned. The staff were friendly and very attentive, even when things got busy-and checked in often. The place was clean, easy to find and park at, and the serving sizes were excellent. 10/10, fantastic!
