This was our second trip here. The wait was long but there is a place for kids in back and some corn hole boards and live music at times. Good distractions for the wait. Beware the outside bar system is not linked to the inside so close out your tabs if you are getting drinks and waiting for an inside table. The appetizers were excellent the cheeseburger was only ok. Done really well but not a whole lot of taste. My friend said the combo meat burger was good. The setup for an inside band looks really good but didn't get to experience that.
We had a great lunch here. The food is excellent and service was friendly. Our group had crab legs, fish tacos, burger, steak sub, pasta, and gator tail. Goombay splash drink was amazing too.
Food was good overall but don't get the grits, it was recommended but the 2 that got it at our table loved the shrimp but not the grits. The rest of us, including the kids, liked our meals. Kids enjoyed the fun names they gave the drinks on the menu, the place has a cute fun vacation decorated vibe. Parking lot is small n so is the restaurant so try to go when it's not busy. Bar looks like a local hole in the wall, very laid back. I'd go back if I lived closer but I enjoy places that aren't too fussy esp on vacation.
The calamari where really good. The oysters not so much. They were fresh yes no though, that we found 3 little still alive crabs. What I didn't like is that they don't cut it for you so they where still stuck to the shell. Little amount of meat.
