I'm from NC, so I've eaten lots of BBQ and ribs in my day. This ranks right up there at the top of the list. The BBQ tasted like bacon and melted in my mouth, the ribs were so tender that the bones pulled right out (like its supposed to) and everything had that great smoke ring and flavor. Definitely recommend trying it out if you likes ya meats.

7/24/22 Visited the restaurant today after our Corolla Wild Horse Tour. We arrived at 8:30 p.m. and the kitchen staff cook informed us that they were closed. We were greeted by a young lady named Destiny who told us that we could get a takeout order.
We tried their beef brisket & ribs with sides of fried okra, coleslaw and potato salad we asked for an order of baked beans which were left out and iced tea.
The meat was good as was the potato salad and okra the slaw was okay. The ribs & brisket had really good seasoning and the BBQ sauce was good but a very small amount. We may try the Nags Head location next time to see if they have better preparation.

We were not impressed on a Friday night eating here. Food was ok, bit NOT great or of any stand out. William was nice. Service, including drink refills and time for food to come out was slooow and they were not real busy. Good tasted ok, I had the "huge brisket sandwich" with baked beans. Baked beans were good. Huge was NOT huge. I LOVE brisket but not from here, little flavor. If you must or for conveinience come here...otherwise check out other options. I may try it again with hesitation as I was at another sooeys years ago and I believe it was good.

Very good meal and portion sizes are great! Very close to where we were staying and wasn't very busy when we went. The place is small which means limited seating, but overall it was a great experience!

Found this place randomly while waiting on check in. Absolutely wonderful food. Ribs so tender and juicy....falling off the bone! The crab cake dinner was good. I LOVED the greens! The chicken was great...nice crunch....Mild sauce was amazing and ranch and tarter tasted homemade! The only thing I would say is the Mac n cheese tasted like box. But all in all great food. I will return!
