I didn’t absolutely love my chicken sandwich but fries were good and husband’s habanero burger was super delicious. Our entire party was baffled over the whole “automatic tip” situation. The waiter had already added a certain percentage onto our bills without giving us a choice.

Everything here was outstanding. The person serving our food was so professional, helpful and attentive. I had the Greek salad with blackened garlic shrimp and it was the best salad I’ve ever had! My husband had the jerk grilled steak and it was excellent. Our son had a grilled cheese and fries and those were also on point. Would 100% recommend and don’t waste your time on the more expensive places, the food and service is better here.

Beware of the 20% surcharge for groups 6 or more. It’s in the fine print on the first page of the menu, which was new to me. Must be a beach town charge and directly related to time a group holds a table. In any case, I was still shocked to see it having 4 young kids at the table with me. It’s their prerogative but I think it’s bad business. I certainly don’t want to come back even though the food was stellar. Server was super friendly, but the 20% “discretionary” surcharge drove the low rating.

Pretty decent. Definitely worth it if you're in Nags Head. A little touristy, sometimes the food is just meh. Not uncommon in touristy areas.

(Just went back after a long absence, much better than i remember. Absolutely worth your time). It is a little small on the inside, might not be great for big parties.

Ordered 2 lbs of snow crab legs. The meat was tough to get out of the shell which meant several things, i.e. overcooked, improperly stored, leading to the meat becoming tough and drying out, making it stick to the shell. Also charged for extra melted butter. It was crowded so didn’t complain because if they would have replaced the crab legs it could take a long time and no guarantee they would be better.

Sandy clams and unevenly cooked fish that came with five, small pieces? Disgusting bathrooms and dog shit service? A Caribbean restaurant that's about as Caribbean as Nova Scotia? Sound appealing? Go here. I have a hard time giving low reviews, especially based on service since I've worked in the field in my younger days. Disinterested people that act like you're a problem. First time I gave a bad tip in three years. The only lie is their credibility.

Staff kinda looked at us like who are tou. They seated us in. 2 or 3 minutes. They wouldn't budge 20 minutes on dinner menu .food tasted okay. EXTREMELY HOT, almost like it was .microwaved the plates burned our hands and food burned our mouths. Atmosphere was kinda cool. One of my favorite places. Ask for the tuna tacos or wraps yummy 😋 also the tuna sandwich is very delicious could cause your mouth to water so have a napkin nearby. The shrimp here is off the hook caught fresh locally as with all the seafood..land lovers can't go wrong either because meat is meat and the cheeseburgers are right on. The problem with living so close is I smell them cooking something around 10:30am from my house.. always yummy and filling.. pay no attention to the waiting it's worth every bite.

This was our best dining experience in OBX. I never expected to try a fish burrito but I’m so glad I did! My wife had the fish tacos which were also great and our kids had chicken tenders that they both enjoyed. Our server was so helpful and made recommendations that lead to an awesome experience. Small place with VERY limited seating...waited 45mins for table (party of 6) on off-season Sunday night. Plan wisely! Food was phenomenal and worth the wait, our server as expedient as possible understanding our ravenous state. Pork Antonio was FANTASTIC; scoop of mashed potatoes seemed a little stingy could have been more generous considering size of chop served. Younger sons had different chicken sandwiches which were eaten with sauce smeared faves accompanied by thumbs up when asked how their dinner was...eldest had nacho appetizer as meal and portion was a meager plate (could've/should've been a platter) and he ended up finishing what his younger brothers couldn't of their sandwiches and fries....Fries portions were majestic and salted AND peppered generously...no complaints there!

Cool local establishment with quality food, great cocktails, and a fun vibe! We sat at the bar and ordered a couple beers (to take the edge off) - ordered the crawfish, steamed Carolina pinks, steamed clams, and the local yellow fin tuna sandwich. They tell you straight up when you order the crawfish dish that they’re not fresh, but honestly you could have fooled us! The chef definitely knows what he’s doing blending garlic, tomatoes, red peppers, and onions with the crawfish! The shrimp were super fresh - the clams were quite possibly the biggest and cleanest (no grit) we’ve had in a long time - and the local tuna was incredible! Ended with a couple gin cocktails that were light and delicious! If you’re looking for good food and a low key vibe, this is your place!

We arrived and there was a 15 min wait at 5:30. It was so worth it, though. I had the salad special. It was grilled salmon on a bed of mixed greens with a savory delicious dressing, cashews, feta, sweet red peppers, and grilled red onions. Superb! My husband ordered the jerk chicken. He said rhe jerk seasoning wasn't very strong, but it was cooked well and her enjoyed the rice and beans with the pineapple chutney! Our daughters enjoyed their PB&J and pasta with butter. They ended their dinner with the chocolate peanut butter pie. My oldest was disappointed that it wasn't the whole pie, but she rated it a 10. We will definitely return! Thank you for a delightful evening!

I had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic lunch at Tortuga's Lie. Patrick, one of the island's top waiters, provided exceptional service, but I couldn't help noticing my jerk burger seemed to be smirking at me. The meal commenced with delectable conch fritters, followed by a rich butternut squash carrot soup infused with coconut milk, then the jerk burger, and culminated with a decadent homemade coconut cream pie.

We had the pleasure of dining at Tortugas' Lie during our visit to Nags Head, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! Here's the breakdown:

My family has been vacationing in Nags Head for many years, & I've now lived here for 3 years. Tortugas is our favorite place for family dinners & just anytime we are hungry for some great food with a Caribbean fair. The food is delicious & fresh, & the service is always friendly. The worst thing is that sometimes the wait to be seated can be long because so many people know about Tortugas from TV or simply word-of-mouth, & everyone wants to eat here. Dress here is casual, as is the friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend you try Tortugas!

Hostess was rude and an tyrant. Apparently she has all of the staff scared of her. Go there for the wait staff and food. The owner should find a new hostess. As to the owners reply, we never barged in nor demanded anything. We were done with our meal when my son called. We asked him to join us with the 3 grandbabies. The waitress who was fantastic throughout went and asked the hostess if they could seat them. Now there were 4 empty tables of 4 seats and 1 empty table for 8. We were sat down to a table for 6, even though there was just the two of us to begin with. So we did not ask to be moved or any special treatment. We didn't demand anything of anyone. My son came in with his family, apparently just walked in and came to our table. That's when hot on there heals came the hostess demanding that they must wait as people were there before them. At which time my middle grandson broke out in tears. My son left with his family because of her rude and unprofessional response. We then paid our bill and left. So whom ever the owner is maybe you should find out both sides of the story before you write a response.

The Hostess’s demeanor was rude and offensive. And based on the owners response to our concerns on how we were treated with our 3 grand babies who left because of their treatment from the hostess, clearly he/she does not care about customer service. We never demanded anything nor did we approach the hostess with and concerns. Two sides to every story. Be sure you know the facts before you respond. 2 days in row and we had the same experience with her. Maybe if she can’t handle selling merchandise and seating patrons at the same time, you need more help.

My husband and I were looking for an early dinner location and tried Tortugas Lie. A great hometown spot. We both had the flounder. It was lightly breaded and fried so well done. No grease. Great food! We went at lunch and I got the quinoa salad. It was delicious and very filling. I loved it so much that I decided to recreate it at home (as close as possible). Just know that if you want to eat dinner, go by 5 or try later. The first time we tried to go there, the large parking lot next door was packed, and it was 1 1/2 hour wait.

On August 31 our group of 6 decided to stop by and get lunch after 3-4 hrs driving. And we picked this place. We talked to the host and waited 30 mins for our table to be ready which was not a problem for us. When we get called and she sees we had a service dog she looked at me and said “ oh you have a dog” I said: “yes, is a support dog” and proceeded to show her our legal docs which she didn’t look anyway and with a nasty attitude said “just go in”. Her attitude was upsetting but didn’t want to ruin our lunch. So we sat at our designated table but came to find out they had outside seating. It was hot but decided to kindly ask the server if we could be switched to an outside table since the dog seemed to be an issue with the host (outside had plenty of tables and chairs). The server said wouldn’t be a problem just ask the host. Went to the host and asked her if we could be switched since we had the dog and didn’t want to make anybody uncomfortable and she said “YES, BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY DO NOT ACCEPT SERVICE ANIMALS”. I decided not to say a word to her after thou she had a nasty attitude and refusing to accept someone with a service dog could get the business in big trouble with the law. BUT after we get seated not even 10 mins later…. We realize there were others with service dogs and pets. So she had no issue with anybody else but us and OUR small service dog. We figured it was a race thing because we were the only customers who were not Americans and is sad to say but been treated the way she treated us, looked at us and even dared to say they didn’t accept service animals could’ve been plenty for us to leave and even file for a lawsuit but needless to say we are not going back and we’re definitely not recommending such a place. The food was good but the service was horrible. It was so upsetting and frustrating but didn’t want to make a scene thou we had the right to speak up.

The creole crawdads appetizer is bigger than it looks and really good. Add some tabasco sauce to really get that Cajun feel.

Crab cake was good. The skewered shrimp Barbados was also good. Black beans and rice... lots of places seem to use it as a bland filler but not here. It's complimentary to the food and you want to eat all of it.

Long wait to be seated but glad we stuck it out.

We were in the mood for fish tacos and Tortugas Lie was highly rated on Google reviews. While they were pretty good, they definitely weren't the best I've ever had (as some other contributors had said). It was a very generous serving however especially for the price. I loved the eclectic decor throughout and could have stayed longer taking everything in but unfortunately it was our last meal in Nags Head before we departed. Would likely try again on another trip!

Iconic OBX restaurant! Well worth the visit!

Sooooo... the wife unit has been coming to the Outer Banks since she was a toddler, and she has been to this iconic restaurant many times since it opened, but this was my first time and I was super impressed by the following "extra" mile efforts in addition to the great food.

As this joint is apparently always packed, both by locals and tourists, be prepared to wait. When we got there about 5:30 pm on a Tuesday during high season, we were told that our wait was gonna be about an hour and ten minutes.

It was worth it! But let me expand on the wait time.

At the back of the joint, there are two full beach volleyball courts and a corn hole set up. Also, a beach bar and several tables are under cover and outside. We ordered drinks, and our son joined the volleyball match, and I'd be darned if he didn't immediately start to dominate the game.

We had 8:30pm tickets to the Lost Colony theater play in Roanoke island, about half an hour drive, and around 6:45pm we started to get a little nervous and went up to the front to see where we were in the wait process.

I also passed to the shaved head dude with the giant mustache that sorta looked like a 1950s Hollywood rubbing bottle genie, that we had the 8:30 tickets, and we're getting a little concerned.

With a giant smile, he walked over to the back area, cleaned and assembled two tables from the bar area, and sat us down. He then came back with menus and took our orders... we had 6 people in the group, and my wife asked him: "Aren't you working the front greeting job?"

With a giant smile, he nodded yes and said that he could do both, as our emergency seating area didn't have a waiter assigned.

Talk about a motivated dude!

The food was worth the wait! We had hummus as one of the entrees (giant serving), delicious broth clam soup, and chips and salsa (free refills).

Our main courses were three orders of fish tacos, burger, quinoa salad (spectacular), and a dozen steamed clams.

I can not say enough good things about the joint and the genie in a bottle waiter/front greeter dude! Thank you for going the extra mile sir!

And the food, great American fair, was also really good!

If you're out in the OBX, do not miss this local and iconic place!

While we loved the food, service, and atmosphere, we could only handle those fries every once in a while for all the salt. I expected prices to be high, you're at the beach in the summer. For a family of 5 we spent about $130 for lunch pre tip. Crabcake sandwich was good and everyone loved their burgers. Kids loved the "Near Miss" drink.

We waited about 45 mins for a table but the food was so with the wait. I had the Island steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was so amazing I ate the entire thing. Mashed potatoes had a great flavor but where a bit wetter than I typically like but again didn't stop me from eating them all.

We expected the food to be better than what it was given their reputation. The crab dip was more like floury gravy and it did not have much flavor.

It was packed on a Wednesday night, so much so that it wasn’t enjoyable to sit and have a drink or two more.

The backyard/tiki bar/volleyball, corn hole, and horseshoe area was relaxing and vibrant, so waiting 45 minutes for a table was not as bad.

140 bucks for 5 for lunch is crazy. Won't be doing that again. Food was ok. Never ever had a dry chicken thigh until yesterday. Not to mention they give you these tiny little sample sized cups of what ever sauce comes with the dish. Now was the sauce good and the chicken flavorful? Yes it was, but would have like an amount proportioned to the food it was paired with! Service was ok, but felt rushed by the waiter to pay up and get out! Probably won't be going back to this restaurant anytime soon

Stopped here for lunch when we arrived on the Banks. Love their Hatteras Chowder and had a fish sandwich that was delicious, while my husband had the crab cake and said it was very good. Atmosphere is like an old beach bar/hangout, which I love, with lots of locals along with tourists. We ate at the bar—bartender was friendly and welcoming. Love coming here.

Some of the best fish tacos I have had outside of San Diego. Fun bar area with local craft beer. Can get busy with a wait but out back has games and a full volleyball court where you can grab a drink and wait.

First visit thought I’d slide in at 2 o’clock and it wouldn’t be very busy. They were packed.
I got their tuna sandwich and it was phenomenal. I even like the chips and salsa with it. I also got bowl of clam soup and it was very good .
Overall a very enjoyable meal, and I definitely recommend.
I left stuffed and my total was like $20. Which, for the portions of mail was a good deal.

We were there on a busy Saturday night and were pleased to get a seat quicker than expected. The place has funky decor; we loved the paintings of four women posing on the beach and we also liked the license plates on the beams by the ceiling. Despite the place being packed, we got our food quickly; everyone on staff was hustling but also remained cheerful and attentive. My coco loco chicken was delicious but my friend proclaimed her burger one of the best she's ever had.

I was on vacation with my husband and was looking for a tasty and decent place to have dinner. We went there and left disappointed.

My husband ordered “ Fish Tacos “ and said it was ok.

As for me I’ve ordered “ BBQ cluck “ the portion was good but the taste wasn’t great.

The chicken was as hard as a rock, not tasty at all and not chewable. I ate whatever was inside the sandwich as I was hungry except the chicken :).

On another note, once my husband open his cutlery to eat the knife was dirty.

I didn’t enjoy my experience there and will definitely not recommend it. I don’t mind paying more yet having BETTER QUALITY of food.

My fiancé and I stopped in for dinner. I got the coco loco chicken with rice and beans on the side. He got the Jamaican jerk chicken. Mine was so tasty. Nice crunch, but tender. His was fall off the bone tender. Absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to come back.

My family and I (group of 6 people) came in on a Sunday around 5:30ish for dinner. There was about a 30 minute wait for a dinner table which we thought was no problem as we had heard great things about the food here. All 6 of us decided to grab some drinks at the bar while we waited for are table us 5 people took 3 bar seats and ordered 6 drinks (4 mixed 1 beer) before we were even handed our mixed drinks the hostess or manager told us if we were not ordering food we had to get up because a group of 2 came in to eat at the bar and there were no more bar seats. Confused we said we ordered $56 of drinks and we weren’t just taking up space at the bar. She told us that because the couple came in to specifically eat at the bar and we were just drinking we had to give up our seats and the bartender said “I can serve ur drinks over in this corner” and that it “wasn’t uncommon for them to ask people to move from the bar and wait outside” this may have been the businesses policy but I’ve never seen paying customers kicked out of bar seats because they aren’t eating as we would have probably ended up with a $300+ tab between all drinks and food once we were seated, but instead we finished our drinks closed are tab tipped the bartender and left. What poor service. This should be written on a sign somewhere if this is truly something that happens at this place.

We were seated promptly, food order was taken quickly and delivered quickly, flavor and food creativity was excellent. The curry sauce for the coconut chicken heavily reminded me of my time I spent/lived in the Caribbean. Surprisingly, that curry sauce was my favorite part of the dinner, nostalgic and delicious, easy 10 out of 10. Only issue (which wasn’t even a major one) was that we sat at the bar with a couple to our left and right. By no means did we feel neglected but for a small, quaint place, it just didn’t feel personal. We bought the staff a round of drinks, my own iced tea was never refilled, and there was minimal to no conversation with the gentleman serving us. Nice guy but just not super personal. Overall, we’d still highly recommend the place and will very likely return on our next trip down, thanks for the great dinner!!

We were impressed with the range of options for vegetarians. My hubs is not vegetarian but I am which can make things difficult. We were seated at the bar which was actually a really great experience. The bar tender was very personable, professional and could remember all of our orders w/o jotting down a single thing. My hubs expanded his horizons and tried the conch fritters. He said they were great. Much like a hush-puppy. I had the white pizza from the appetizer section and it was delicious. My hubs enjoyed his teriyaki burger. He highly recommends it. We ordered different pies for desert and shared. Key lime and coconut cream. If you take a bite of each, it’s off the chain delicious!! Try it!

This is the kind of place that many people would drive past. It has a very laid-back look. There are a couple of handicap parking spots. Tortugas Lie was recommended to us by a friend in the restaurant business. So we tried it. It was fantastic. We had a local beer. We had the white pizza and a portobello sandwich. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Tortugas Lie if you are 8n the Outer Banks area.

Very quaint and cute place with lots of novelty stickers on the walls and door. I ordered the blackened Yellowfin Tuna tacos. There is a choice of 2 or 3 from the menu. I ordered 3. They came with rice, beans, and salsa. The tacos did not have much flavor but the fish nuggets were cooked to perfection. My gf ordered the Bajan Burger with fries which she said was perfectly cooked and delicious.

Very disappointed in my experience. We were looking forward to dining there because of the vegetarian options. My friend ordered the rice and black bean burrito. It was spicy and she was unable to eat it. When I spoke to the waiter about it his excuse was "the menu says there is barbecue sauce". (I took a bite and my face went hot and sweaty.). I had the fish and black bean burrito and it was delicious and not spicy at all. That's why the 3 rating - good food, but not for everyone.

Went to try a new place today. Not bad. Had chips n salsa and fish n chips. Not what I was expecting really. You can’t really go wrong with chips and salsa, unless the salsa taste sweet and almost like a marinara. Now for the fish and chips. The fries were great. The fish I was figuring it be a filet of some sort because that’s what you usually get. Not in this case. It was ok and definitely needed the honey mustard. Would go back again and try another menu option.

This has been my favorite spot in the Outer Banks for as long as I can remember and it never disappoints! I love to sit at the bar and people watch, but it has lots of tables for a small place and can accommodate your needs if your willing to wait. The addition of the outside bar has been a huge bonus, not to mention the sand volleyball court. Food, beer selection and friendliness is over the top. But I won’t go on and on, because I want to still be able to find a seat when I visit????

Been here at least 20 times over the past few years. Great food always. Desserts are almost the main standout on the menu. Service is typically speedy unless it's a crazy busy summer day when tourists make a line out the door. Recommend highly.

Absolutely awesome on all counts. I got the fish tacos and couldn't recommend them more, my girlfriend got a tuna salad and it was also unbelievable. You can't go wrong here, everything they make is top notch.

All around great experience! We visited for dinner with a group of 10 people in October. Had to wait ~45 minutes but were able to order drinks and hang out in the back patio so time went quickly. All the food we ordered was delicious so you can’t go wrong with anything you get, plus our server Patrick was the BEST! He went above and beyond making sure our order were correct and also running us as separate tickets. Absolutely would return and recommend.

Waitress forgot my order and had to come back to the table and ask me againwhat i got, my fiance got his food first, and by time I got mine (15 minutes later) his was almost gone. Highly overpriced for the quality and service.

Was visiting last week and looking forward as always having happy hours, dinners etc. like we have had at Tortugas for over 30 years. We brought new friends after telling them how much we enjoyed sitting at the bar eating shrimp and having drinks after the beach. There were four of us and as we walked in the hostess,a young lady late teens early twenty asked if we needed a table in which I replied no we are just going to sit at the bar. There were three chairs all together open and she said we could not sit there because there were four of us but she could get us a table. I said "we prefer the bar there are three chairs I will stand until a chair comes free." Her reply again was "You can't do that because there are four of you." Now her voice getting louder and turning into a lecture. I said "okay I will wait outside and let them have three chairs and when one comes open they can come get me." "You can't do that either." and if I sat at another place at the bar and a chair became available near the three I was told I couldn't move next to them. All in a loud lectured tone. I asked what is this elementary school? The bartenders generally control the bar area and seating asking people to slide down if possible. Not a big deal. She was having nothing to do with it. I dont know whatever happened to hospitality and accomodating your guest who like us work and save all year to just relax and enjoy ourselves and not be lectured about a supposed assigned seating rule at the bar. She took my number and said she would call me when the number four chair was available. We left and 5 mins later we received a message it was available but unfortunately our friends had seen enough.

Out of 4 of us, 2 loved our meal choices, 2 said theirs was just ok. The service was awesome. Our server, who was also managing the seafood orders coming in, was awesome to watch at the bar, where we chose to sit down to drink and eat. It's a good place to go to try it out.

Showed up with a crew of 5 at noon on a Saturday. Somehow got seated right away! Great food. Good beers. Excellent service. A little loud when it’s packed but that’s not a detraction, just a note! Always make a point of stopping here when we visit OBX

First impression - it's a retirement man cave in Florida with a bar, turquoise paint and license plate collection. Second impression - rude hostess. She told us that we will not be served because the kitchen is too small to prepare two appetizers to go for two people. Some times I wonder if some of the locals in OBX are descendants of French and English pirates, aka terrorists. They are here to take your money and that's where the value of human life ends here.

If you need more people working at your restaurant, you gonna have to start paying them, instead of relying on dine-in tipping. A push for dine-in is as unacceptable as a push for return to office. Some businesses just fail to adapt to the new normal. Preparing our own meals in a fully stocked tiny home kitchen is an option.

No trip to the Outer Banks is complete without a stop at Tortuga's! Be sure to check their socials for updated hours as they change them up somewhat frequently to meet staffing and customer volume.

During peak time waits can be pretty lengthy and they do set the br area for dining (meaning you have to wait like everyone else.) BUT...they do have an outside tiki bar with drinks and some snacks to order while you wait. There's also sad volleyball courts...

I always sit at the bar, it's just the vibe I want from this place but you can't go wrong as it's the same wonderful food and service either way.

The steamer baskets are delicious, don't miss the conch fritters, and the shrimp barbados on my latest visit was amazing. Don't forget to check the specials board to ensure you get what's freshest!

Never had a bad meal here and despite the busy times the staff is always friendly and attentive. Don't miss the OPP to slow yourself down and chill at Tortuga's.

I had the pork chop that was featured on triple D, and it was great. I had the best dessert of our entire visit! Chocolate pecan pie and the crust made of a chocolate chip cookie! Yes please. Our food was delicious.
It's more like what you'd expect at an upscale restaurant with fresh quality ingredients and creative dishes.
We will definitely go back. Honestly, this food was better than our expensive "upscale" meal we had elsewhere the night before. Best food of the trip for sure!

A guy at the hotel where I'm staying recommended this place. I ordered a side salad and coco Loco chicken. Everything was good. I do not like coconut, but the chicken was cooked really well. The lime sauce added an extra flavor to the chicken that worked well. My daughter had the bajan burger, which came with cheese and bacon and a side of fries. The fries were so good. I would definitely come back. I gave the atmosphere a 3 star only because we were sat near the bar area where my daughter is 13. Also, we got funny stares, probably because of my daughter sitting near a bar or maybe because we're black and were thw only blacks in there. Not sure, but I'm going back anyway before I leave OBX.

Oh... I ordered the key lime pie to go. It was delicious after being in the fridge.

A really good all round place to eat. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal and the portions were pretty reasonable. We had to wait maybe ~30 minutes to get a table, but we had expected that as they don't do reservations. The service was on point and friendly.

Heard about it from family , looked it up and there was a lot of good reviews. Tried it out and. Couldnt be more pleased. We sat at bar and our bar tender/ waiter as knowledgeable and plus we got great service. Food came out fast even though they were busy. It’s a small, quaint place. They have really cool tees too!

Very accommodating staff and got our table quick out on the patio. Our server on the patio, Lauren, was amazing! And also the host/hostess were very helpful and nice ????. We split the crab cake entree order with 2 crab cakes. They were absolutely amazing! Great time all around (service, foot and atmosphere). Hope to be back someday!

We had less than 5 minutes wait, arriving a little after 8 pm. We had 6 in our party, ordering appetizers and 6 dinners. The appetizers were hot and tasty! If you are curious about the fried oysters... OMG! They are a MUST try! Delicious! Steamed shrimp were juicy and hush puppies were super good!

The meals coming out in a separated time span wasn't good; while part of us were waiting for everyone to get their meal, and it cooling off quickly.

The fried shrimp was excellent, without a ton of breading covering the shrimp taste. Fried fish was the same! Thin coating of breading. Burger was underwhelming, being a bit dry and not a whole lot of taste.

Overall, a good experience!

This is just a small quaint awesome place. The staff is super friendly. We had the coconut crusted chicken and the shrimp skewers. Both were delicious. We also had the key lime pie and the coconut pie. I have never had 2 pies that tasted so good. The keylime was pure and true, no cream whipped in the fluff. And the coconut pie has the softest crust and richest coconut flavor absolutely filled with coconut. Kind of tasted like I was eating a coconut macaroon. Fun to see all the T-shirts and sweater you can buy. I am not a drinker but the bar looked like a great time. Would definitely recommend coming here. The line could get long on busy days. We went to 6pm on a Thursday in March. No wait. Sorry some photos came out blurry.
